The Washington Stealth have announced the signing of right-handed forward Luke Wiles for the 2011 season. Wiles is entering his sixth National Lacrosse League season, including five seasons with the Stealth.

Wiles was a major player in the NLL's highest scoring offense a year ago, tallying 49 points on 24 goals and 25 assists in 15 regular season games. He also recorded seven points (4g, 3a) in three playoff games, including a four-point (3g, 1a) performance in the West Division Final against the Edmonton Rush.

"Luke's signing reunites what we feel is one of the top group of right handed offensive players in the league, and having him in camp is going to be a huge benefit for us," said Stealth General Manager Doug Locker. "He makes things happen every time he is on the floor and we look forward to big things from him in 2011."

Wiles, a native of Orillia, Ontario, was the 4th overall draft pick in the 2005 NLL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Wings. He was traded to the Stealth midway through the 2006 season and finished the year with 49 points (23g, 26a) en route to NLL All-Rookie Team honors. He played the following two seasons with the Stealth, leading the squad with a career-high 82 points (30g, 52a) in 2007.

Wiles spent the 2009 season with the Toronto Rock before being traded back to the Stealth prior to the 2010 season. In 75 career regular season games, he has recorded 303 points (130g, 173a).
