Ian Rubel signs with Rocheser for two seasons

The Rochester Knighthawks have signed veteran defenseman Ian Rubel to a two-year deal.
Rubel has played nine seasons in NLL after appearing in two games with Minnesota in 2009. In his career, the stay-at-home defenseman has played in 90 games and recorded two goals, 11 assists and 148 loose balls. He is excited to get the opportunity to play in the NLL again.
"He is a lefty defenseman and is one of the best in the business," said Knighthawks Owner & GM Curt Styres of Rubel. "I have always liked the way he played."
