Teams Announce 23-Man Rosters

Tough decisions made as rosters are cut down

NLL Teams are announcing their rosters today as the final cuts from training camp have now been made. All teams must now have their rosters at the in-season size of 23 active players and 3 practice players.

NLL Teams are announcing their rosters today as the final cuts from training camp have now been made. All teams must now have their rosters at the in-season size of 23 active players and 3 practice players.

The Colorado Mammoth were first to announce their 23 man roster. Most notable among the cuts was veteran transition man Nick Carlson, who had played the past 8 season with the team. The full roster can be seen here.

The Washington Stealth have announced their roster. Craig Conn is among the notable players who were released. Click here to see the Washington roster.

In Buffalo, the Bandits roster includes six new players. Among the six is former Philadelphia Wings defenseman Kyle Sweeney. Click here to see the Bandits roster. Among the players released were Brett Bucktooth, Clay Hill and Jay Thorimbert.

Perhaps the biggest roster turnover is in Minnesota, where the Swarm have 12 new faces among the 23 players on the active roster. Click here to see the Minnesota roster.

The Rochester Knighthawks have infused their lineup with youth. All three players drafted by the club within the first 23 picks of the 2011 Entry Draft have made the team and are expected to contribute in a meaningful way this season. Check out the Rochester roster here.

The Toronto Rock announced their 23 man roster on Thursday morning. An injury to Drew Petkoff allowed at least one of the team's rookie draft picks to make the active roster out of camp. Click here to see the Toronto roster.
