Rock shore up goaltending situation while Mammoth bring back fan favorite

The trade deadline for the 2012 NLL season has passed, and here’s what happened:

Toronto acquired goaltender Nick Rose and a conditional second-round pick in the 2014 NLL Entry Draft from Calgary for the Rock’s first-round pick in 2014.

Colorado brought back fan favorite Jamie Shewchuk from Minnesota for a third-round pick in 2012.

The Rochester Knighthawks also picked up Jamison Koesterer from the Washington Stealth for a conditional third-round pick in the 2013 draft.  Koesterer, who has not appeared in any NLL games this year, won 86 of 143 face-offs in five games with Washington in 2011.

Though the trade deadline has passed, teams still have until 3 p.m. ET Thursday to add players to their roster via free-agent signings for the remainder of the regular season and the playoffs.

Will any teams add a final piece or two for a championship run? Be sure to check NLL.com for the latest on any free-agent signings as the deadline approaches.
