A record-breaking National Lacrosse League regular season has come concluded and with that the final power rankings from ILIndoor.com have been released.
The top five teams remain unchanged from last week.
Calgary, which ended its season with a win over Edmonton on April 21 to clinch the top overall seed, again heads up the final rankings. The Roughnecks and Rush will meet win a Western Divisional Semifinal on Saturday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary.
Colorado stays second following Saturday’s season-ending 16-13 road loss to Minnesota, which holds on to the fourth spot. The Mammoth and Swarm will meet in the other West semifinal on Saturday night at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
Toronto is still in third after its 12-11 win in Week 17 over the Rush, who kept their hold on fifth. The defending NLL champions start postseason play with an Eastern Division Semifinal tilt against Buffalo on Saturday night at the Air Canada Centre.
The Bandits move up one spot to sixth after beating Washington 17-16 in overtime.
Rochester climbs one spot to seventh and Philadelphia falls two spots to eighth after the Knighthawks’ 9-7 win over the Wings last Saturday. The teams will meet again Friday night at the Blue Cross Arena in the other East semifinal.
