Edmonton Rush forward Shawn Williams had a memorable 2012 season. Williams played an important role in helping the Rush win their first West Division Championship. He also set the new league record for consecutive games played. The streak is now at 196 games and will resume at the start of the 2013 season.
Williams also took another step towards what could very well be a Hall of Fame career when it's all said and done. He moved up to #5 on the league's all-time goals scored list with 412 career regular season goals. The 16 goals he scored this past season allowed him to move past two Hall of Famers in Paul Gait and Tom Marechek.
The top four positions remained unchanged. John Tavares remains the all-time leader, increasing his career total to 765. Hall of Famer Gary Gait remains second with 635. John Grant & Colin Doyle remain third and fourth, respectively.
There was one new addition to the Top 10 Goals Scored List in 2012. Washington Stealth forward Lewis Ratcliff ended the season with 380 career goals, which moved him into 8th place on the all-time list. The addition of Ratcliff bumps Tracey Kelusky out of the Top 10.
