New York Daily News praises film for spiritual look into lacrosse

Crooked Arrows is a lacrosse movie that lets audiences root for the underdog, while also incorporating elements of Native American culture and folklore, according to Joyce Chen of the New York Daily News.

Chen also spoke with lead actor Brandon Routh.  “The spiritual aspect of the film was really intriguing to me, especially since I have that (Native American culture) in my ancestry,” leading man Brandon Routh said of the flick. “Learning about the sport and how it had that kind of historical relevance was so important and made the story that much more poignant and heart-warming.”
