The National Lacrosse League has expanded its television broadcast reach to international territories this summer. Game broadcasts from the recently completed 2012 season are airing in China, Hong Kong, South Korea and territories throughout Asia on the All Sports Network (ASN).
In the first year of a multi-year broadcast agreement between NLL & ASN, the network is airing 20 select games from the 2012 season, including the Playoffs and Championship Game. All game broadcasts are in High Definition.
ASN, which launched in 2009, is the first 24-hour Pan Asian HD sports channel covering some of the world’s biggest sporting brands. It welcomes the National Lacrosse League to a programming lineup that includes the National Football League (NFL), National Hockey League (NHL), NCAA & NASCAR among its sports properties.
“We’re happy to be on ASN and to have the opportunity to reach new fans”, said NLL Commissioner George Daniel.
