The Philadelphia Wings have traded David Brock and Mike Hominuck to the Buffalo Bandits in exchange for Kevin Buchanan and their third round selection in the 2013 NLL Entry Draft.

Bandits General Manager Steve Dietrich spoke highly of the new Bandits duo. "These two are both great, unselfish teammates," Dietrich said. "Along with the others we have recently acquired, they are going to help bring a refreshed attitude to Buffalo."

Enterting his third season in the league, Brock has recorded 10 points (6G, 4A) in 26 career games with the games with Boston and Philadelphia. The former first round entry draft pick has also tallied 50 penalty minutes, along with 107 loose balls.

"David is a team-first, athletic defender that has both size and speed," Dietrich said. "He can get out in transition and finish off the break."

Joining Brock in Buffalo is Mike Hominuck, who started his career with the Bandits in 2004. After seeing time in Portland, Minnesota, Edmonton, Toronto, and Philadelphia, Hominuck has totaled 290 points (113 G, 177A), 51 penalty minutes, and 370 loose balls in 90 regular season games.

In addition to Buffalo's third round selection in the 2013 NLL Entry Draft, the Wings have added fourth year veteran Kevin Buchanan to their roster. Buchanan tallied 10 goals and 19 assists last season with the Bandits.

Wings Head Coach and General Manager Johnny Mouradian spoke highly of Buchanan's experience, both national and international, as a key factor in his acquisition. "Kevin played with a number of our players on the United States Indoor National Team last year in Prague that was coached by (Wings Offensive Coordinator) Blaine Harrison, so there is some nice familiarity there."

Buchanan also rejoins a Wings team that features former Boston teammate Dan Dawson. In 2011, Buchanan experienced career highs while flanking Dawson, talling 24 goals and 33 assists.
