Curt Malawsky served as an assistant coach of the Roughnecks following his retirement from a succesful playing career and is now the head coach.
Calgary Roughnecks head coach Curt Malawsky talked to Sportsnet's Megan Robinson recently about the mindset with Roughneck players that needs to change, if the 2013 campaign is going to lead to the Champions Cup.
"I think guys have to look in the mirror and figure out how they prepared for that final game," Malawsky said, referring to Calgary's 19-11 loss to the Edmonton Rush in the Western Division final last season. "They need to consider what they did and didn't do right, because what they didn't do right has to be changed."
Malawsky also talked to Robinson about his coaches, who taught him about coaching, and what he is looking forward to, as the new season approaches. You can read Megan Robinson's story on Sportsnet by clicking here.
