The Colorado Mammoth announced on Wednesday that the team has re-signed forwards Jamie Shewchuk, Jordan McBride and Joey Cupido to one-year agreements.

“Our offense led the National Lacrosse League in scoring in 2012,” said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett. “That said, we’re expecting to get more from Jamie, Jordan and Joey in 2013 than we did this past year.”

Shewchuk, who split time in Colorado and Minnesota in each of the past two seasons, enters his seventh year in the NLL. He is top-five all-time in Mammoth franchise history in goals, assists and points.

McBride, a second-round draft pick by Colorado a year ago, recorded 10 goals and 10 assists in 11 games played in his rookie campaign. Cupido was called up from the practice squad for the team’s final 2012 regular-season game.

Earlier this week, the Mammoth announced that the team has re-signed veteran defenseman Jarett Park, and has inked free agents Richard Morgan and John McClure. All three agreements are one-year deals.

“We’re in the process of filling out a roster that we expect can compete for the Champion’s Cup,” said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett. “It’ll be great to have a healthy Jarett Park in training camp, and Richard and John give us an added dimension.”

Park enters his third season in Colorado, and his eighth overall in the National Lacrosse League.

Morgan, who brings nine years of NLL defensive experience to the Mammoth, is the league’s tallest player (6’8”). His brother, David, played for Colorado in 2010.

McClure, a fifth-round selection of the Minnesota Swarm in the 2010 NLL Entry Draft, appeared in one game in 2011. A right-handed transition player, McClure is a native of Brampton, Ontario. He played collegiately at Dowling College.
