The 2012 NLL Entry Draft was held on October 1. Just nine days later, the Colorado Mammoth announced that the team has all three players it selected in the draft under contract.

“Now it’s time for them to show that they can play alongside the world’s best and contribute,” said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett.

Right-handed forward Colton Clark was the ninth-overall selection (first round) last Monday night. Fellow righties Jaeden Gastaldo (transition) and Alex Demopoulos (forward) were taken in the fifth and sixth rounds, respectively.

Regarding the prospects of Clark, ILIndoor.com offered the following assessment in their post-draft analysis.  "In Clark, Colorado did get what they wanted most: a talented righty forward. Clark will bring an honest effort and should help keep the Mammoth offense rolling."

The Mammoth opens the 2013 season at home on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center on Saturday, January 12 against the Washington Stealth.
