Philadelphia Wings captain Brodie Merrill will host a live Google+ Hangout during the Bandits/Rock game on Thursday, Feb. 28.

Philadelphia Wings captain Brodie Merrill will become the first player to host a Google+ Hangout video chat during an NLL game when he takes questions from fans on Thursday, Feb. 28. The Hangout will coincide with The Lacrosse Network's live YouTube broadcast of the Buffalo Bandits at Toronto Rock game at Air Canada Centre at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The live Hangout will feature two interactive sessions with Merrill, one 10-minute segment before the game and another at halftime. Fans will be able to submit questions for Merrill through social media outlets such as Google+, Facebook, Twitter (using the #askBrodie hashtag), and YouTube.

NLL Commissioner George Daniel hosted a live Hangout on YouTube on Wednesday, Feb. 20, which marked the first NLL event on Google+. Fans submitted questions for the Commissioner on social media, both before and during the event, using the #asktheNLLcommish hashtag. Watch the Commissioner's Hangout here.

Google+ is a social networking add-on allowing users to interact with one another on Google. "Hangouts" are places used to facilitate group video chat with up to 10 participants. Visit the NLL's page on Google+ here.
