The National Lacrosse League final roster deadline passed on Friday, March 15 at 5 p.m. ET as several NLL teams tweaked their rosters to prepare for the remainder of the regular season with hopes for a deep playoff run.
The Buffalo Bandits released Luke Wiles, their second-leading scorer last season, and placed him on the Practice Player List. Buffalo signed rookies Kevin Brownell and Hayden Smith to one-year agreements and placed them on the Active Roster.
The Colorado Mammoth signed Ryan Hotaling to a one-year agreement and placed him on the Active Roster from the Protected Player List and signed Mike Attwood and Kyle Andrews to the Practice Player List.
The Minnesota Swarm signed Joel Henry and Michael O'Brien to the Practice Player List.
The Philadelphia Wings released Kevin Croswell and James Forsythe, signed Angus Dineley to a one-year agreement and placed him on the Active Roster, and placed Brendan Mundorf on the Active Roster from the Physically Unable to Perform List. Philadelphia also signed Ethan Farrell, James Forsythe and Brandon Francis to the Practice Player List, and placed Will Harrington on the Physically unable to Perform List.
The Rochester Knighthawks released Brad Richardson from the Practice Player List. Rochester released Tyler Burton and Matthew Hummell and signed them to the Practice Player List.
The Washington Stealth placed Mitch Jones on the Active Roster from the Hold Out List and placed Tim Henderson on the Physically Unable to Perform List.
The 2013 NLL regular season ends on Saturday, April 20 with the first round of the playoffs beginning the weekend of April 26-28.
