IL Indoor's Brian Shanahan has released his National Lacrosse League Power Rankings after Week #11 of the 2013 NLL regular season. With a divisional road win over the Philadelphia Wings (5-5), the Toronto Rock (8-3) remain at the top of the ranks for the eighth-straight week. The Edmonton Rush (6-5) continued their surge by moving up to the second spot after getting revenge on the Rochester Knighthawks in a rematch of the 2012 NLL Championship Game.

"There were four games in the NLL this weekend and the biggest surprise was how the number nine ranked Minnesota Swarm stifled the last week’s number two ranked Washington Stealth by a score of 12-5," Shanahan writes.

1) Toronto Rock (8-3)

"Colin Doyle had a goal and six assists, Josh Sanderson scored four and rookie Kyle Belton had three goals on his 26th birthday as Toronto defeated the Wings 13-8. Toronto specialty teams continue to shine as the power play needed about 10 seconds to score on two of three power plays and the short man unit held the Wings scoreless in three tries. Toronto will host rookie sensation Mark Matthews and the red-hot Edmonton Rush next Sunday at the ACC."

2) Edmonton Rush (6-5) (+1)

"The week off didn’t appear to hurt the Edmonton Rush as they got their third straight win by defeating the defending champ Rochester Knighthawks 11-9. Edmonton must have had visions of last year's championship game when they dominated the first half only to watch a role reversal in the second half...Edmonton watched a 7-3 first half turn into a slim 8-7 lead as the third quarter ended. However, unlike last year, Edmonton scored three straight goals to open the fourth quarter and they never looked back."
