The National Lacrosse League has announced a summary of discipline stemming from incidents occurring during Week #13 of the NLL regular season for games played on March 29-30.
Minnesota Swarm transition player Tyler Hass has been assessed a one-game suspension stemming from a high-sticking incident on Philadelphia Wings transition player Paul Rabil at the 4:36 mark of the second quarter of their game on Friday, March 29. A High Sticking Major Penalty was called on the field, and upon league review, Hass has been assessed a Match Penalty for violation of High Sticking (Rule 62.2).
Buffalo Bandits forward Derek Hopcroft has been assessed a Game Misconduct penalty stemming from a fight with Toronto Rock defenseman Bill Greer at the 8:14 mark of the first quarter of their game on Friday, March 29. A Fighting Major was called on the field, and upon league review, Hopcroft has been assessed an Instigator Minor, Instigator Major and Game Misconduct for violation of Instigator (Rule 80.2).
