The National Lacrosse League has announced a summary of discipline stemming from incidents occurring during Week #14 of the NLL regular season for games played on April 6-7.
Buffalo Bandits defenseman Steve Priolo has been assessed a one-game suspension stemming from a high-sticking incident at the 3:57 mark of the first quarter of their game against the Minnesota Swarm on Saturday, April 6. A High Sticking Major penalty was called on the field, and upon league review, Priolo has been assessed a one-game suspension for violation of High Sticking (Rule 62.2).
Rochester Knighthawks defenseman Ian Llord has been assessed a Game Misconduct penalty for a boarding incident at the 12:25 mark of the fourth quarter of their game against the Philadelphia Wings on Saturday, April 6. A Boarding Major penalty was called on the field, and upon league review, Llord has been assessed a Game Misconduct penalty for violation of Boarding (Rule 74.3).
The league has rescinded the Game Misconduct penalty assessed to Rochester Knighthawks defenseman Paul Dawson stemming from an altercation with Philadelphia Wings forward Brandon Francis at the 8:19 mark of the first quarter of their game on Saturday, April 6. Roughing Minor, Unsportsmanlike Conduct- Misconduct and Unsportsmanlike Conduct- Game Misconduct penalties were called on the field, and upon league review, the Game Misconduct penalties have been rescinded.
In other league discipline news, Minnesota Swarm transition player Tyler Hass has withdrawn his appeal and will serve his one-game suspension assessed for a Week #13 high-sticking incident on Philadelphia Wings transition player Paul Rabil at the 4:36 mark of the second quarter of their game on Friday, March 29.
