The National Lacrosse League has announced a summary of discipline stemming from incidents occurring during Week #15 of the NLL regular season for games played on April 13-14.
Minnesota Swarm defenseman Nik Bilic has been assessed a Game Misconduct penalty for a roughing incident that occurred at the 6:06 mark of the fourth quarter of their game against the Colorado Mammoth on Saturday, April 13. Roughing Minor and Game Misconduct penalties were called on the field, and upon league review of the incident, the Game Misconduct ruling is upheld for violation of Contact While Shooting on Net (Rule 69.3).
In other league discipline news, Buffalo Bandits defenseman Steve Priolo will have an appeal hearing for his one-game suspension stemming from a high-sticking incident at the 3:57 mark of the first quarter of their game against the Minnesota Swarm on Saturday, April 6. A High Sticking Major penalty was called on the field, and upon league review, Priolo has been assessed a one-game suspension for violation of High Sticking (Rule 62.2). The date of the hearing is still to be determined.
