Toronto's Scott Evans assessed one-game suspension, game misconduct

The National Lacrosse League has announced a summary of discipline stemming from incidents occurring during the first-round Division Semifinal contests of the 2013 NLL Playoffs for games played on April 27-28.

Toronto Rock forward Scott Evans has been assessed a one-game suspension and game misconduct penalty stemming from a fighting incident at the 13:54 mark of the fourth quarter of their playoff loss against the Minnesota Swarm on Sunday, April 28. Checking from behind and instigator minor penalties, a fighting major penalty and game misconduct penalty were called on the field, and upon league review of the incident, the game misconduct has been upheld for violation of Instigator (Rule 80.2). Evans has been assessed a one-game suspension for the start of next regular season for violation of Game Misconduct Assessed in Team's Last Game (Rule 40.4)
