National Lacrosse League indoor stars, including several members of the Philadelphia Wings, continued to make a huge impact in summer Major League Lacrosse during four outdoor MLL games this past weekend.

The New York Lizards (3-4) handed the Hamilton Nationals (5-2) their second-straight loss with a 12-10 win on Thursday. 2013 NLL Entry Draft prospect Rob Pannell, the Teewaraton Award (NCAA's best player) winner out of Cornell University, scored twice in the win. A pair of Wings players, CJ Costabile and Max Seibald, both tallied once for the Lizards while Minnesota Swarm teammates David Earl and Matt Gibson each got on the scoresheet with a goal and two assists respectively.

The NLL-heavy Nationals roster saw Wings forward Kevin Crowley, who leads the MLL in both goals (23) and points (32), score a game-high five goals in the loss. A trio of Rochester Knighthawks contributed as Stephen Keogh found the net twice, Cody Jamieson scored once and Joe Walters added two assists. Top-rated defensive prospect Jason Noble (Cornell), steadily improving his stock headed into the NLL Draft, suited up for Hamilton as did another highly-coveted draft-eligible player in Reid Acton from Detroit University.

In the first of three games on Saturday, the undefeated Denver Outlaws (7-0) knocked off the Chesapeake Bayhawks (4-3) by a score of 13-9. Wings forward Brendan Mundorf, ranked third in the league with 28 points and seventh with 15 goals, scored once in the win while Zack Greer (Edmonton Rush) added an assist. Mundorf's Wings teammate Drew Westervelt, tied for seventh in the MLL in goals (15) and points (21), scored a goal for the Bayhawks in the loss as did the Colorado Mammoth's John Grant, Jr.

Wings forward Kevin Buchanan scored twice while teammate Kyle Sweeney scored once for the Boston Cannons (2-5) in their 15-13 win over the Charlotte Hounds (3-4). The Cannons won despite having Paul Rabil, the league's second-leading scorer with 29 points, held off the scoresheet.

To cap off the weekend, the Ohio Machine (1-6) earned their first win of the season with a 13-11 victory over the Rochester Rattlers (3-4). Logan Schuss, the projected first-overall pick of the 2013 NLL Entry Draft out of Ohio State University, scored twice for the Machine and now has eight goals in four MLL games. Wings transition player Kyle Hartzell notched a goal for Ohio while Roughnecks forward Joe Resetarits added two assists. Wings forward Ned Crotty tallied twice for the Rattlers in the losing effort.
