The Philadelphia Wings have announced that the team has signed two 2013 NLL Entry Draft picks, forward James Delaney and goalie Don Alton, both to one-year deals. The Wings selected Delaney with the 19th overall selection Alton at 33rd overall.

Delaney was a midfielder at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA and plays the position of forward for the Nanaimo Timbermen of the Western Lacrosse Association in Canada. In 2013, Delaney was voted to the USILA All-America first team and Most Outstanding Midfielder.

Alton has spent the last two years with the Six Nations Arrows of the Ontario Lacrosse Association Junior A league, posting a .791 save percentage and allowing just 5.81 goals per game in 2013. Alton looks to add depth at goalie for the Wings roster in 2014.

The Philadelphia Wings open the 2014 NLL regular season on the road against the Buffalo Bandits on Saturday, Dec. 28 and will host Buffalo for their home opener at Wells Fargo Center on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 4 p.m. ET.
