The National Lacrosse League features the best lacrosse players in the world, but only 180 of them will earn the right to start the season on active rosters, as the roster cutdown deadline on Monday, Dec. 16 at noon ET looms.
NLL front offices, general managers and head coaches will have some tough decisions to make after one of the most competitive preseasons in league history, highlighted by demanding team training camps and fierce exhibition games.
With four more preseason games involving six teams set for this weekend, teams will get one last look at their players before deciding who to keep on their 20-man active roster, which can be supplemented by a four-man practice roster.
Check back on NLL.com on Monday to see which players made the cut in one of the most elite leagues in sports. The 2014 NLL regular season starts on Saturday, Dec. 28 with three games on the opening night schedule.
