With the start of the 2014 National Lacrosse League regular season featuring the world's best players on Saturday, Dec. 28 right around the corner, several teams will help wrap up the NLL preseason this weekend.

The Toronto Rock host the Philadelphia Wings for an exhibition game at Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC) on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. ET. Meanwhile on Saturday, the Buffalo Bandits will finish training camp at First Niagara Center, the Calgary Roughnecks will host their Select-A-Seat event and the Colorado Mammoth hold training camp and conduct their "Mini-Mammoth" youth lacrosse clinic. Finally, the Vancouver Stealth will continue camp sessions as the league returns to British Columbia this season.

The final exhibition game of the NLL preseason features a matchup of the two most-successful franchises in league history as Philadelphia and Toronto share the league record for most Champion’s Cups in their respective trophy cases with six apiece.

There is no charge for admission to Saturday’s exhibition game and the doors at TRAC will open at 6 p.m. Kids are encouraged to bring their lacrosse stick, helmet with a cage and lacrosse gloves to throw the ball around between 6-7 p.m. on the concrete pad before the game.

With a cap of approximately 800 spectators, it is recommended that fans arrive early to avoid disappointment. For those fans unable to attend in person, the game will be broadcast live on select TVCogeco and Rogers TV stations throughout the province of Ontario. Also on Saturday, Mammoth players including forward Adam Jones will help conduct an introductory lacrosse clinic for four-to-seven-year-old boys and girls from 12-1:30 p.m. MT on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center. Registration for the clinic took place earlier this month. Colorado will also hold training camp sessions throughout the weekend as the team prepares to open the regular season at home in Week #1.

“Kids will learn the basics – throwing and catching – from the best in the world, and will become instant fans of this great game,” said Mammoth president and general manager Steve Govett. “They’ll always remember, and cherish, the first time they had a stick in their hands.”

The Stealth will hold training camp sessions this weekend from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. PT and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21 and on Sunday, Dec. 22 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. The final day of Vancouver's training camp will take place on Saturday, Dec. 28 with six other teams in action for the start of the 2014 regular season.

Calgary Roughnecks fans will have the chance to choose from the best available seat locations for the 2014 season by attending the Roughnecks Select-a-Seat event at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday, Dec. 21 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. MT. For more information, please click here.

The 2014 NLL regular season begins on Saturday, Dec. 28 when the back-to-back champion Rochester Knighthawks host the Minnesota Swarm at 7:30 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bandits also take on the visiting Philadelphia Wings at 7:30 p.m. ET while West Division play gets underway with the Edmonton Rush at Colorado Mammoth at 9 p.m. ET.
