The National Lacrosse League has announced a summary of discipline stemming from incidents occurring during Week 10 of the 2014 NLL regular season for games played on Friday, Feb. 28 & Saturday, March 1.
Toronto Rock forward Stephan Leblanc has been assessed a game misconduct penalty stemming from a slashing incident on the Edmonton Rush's Nik Bilic at the 2:13 mark of the third quarter of their game on February 28. A slashing minor penalty was called on the field, and upon league review of the incident, Leblanc has been assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for violation of slashing (Rule 63.3).
In other league discipline news, the ruling of Rochester Knighthawks defenseman Mac Allen's one-game suspension was upheld after the appeal went to arbitration. Allen was assessed a match penalty and suspended one game stemming from a boarding incident on Toronto Rock player Garrett Billings at the 13:06 mark of the third quarter of their game on February 15. Allen was assessed a match penalty for violation of boarding (Rule 74.4), which carried an automatic one-game suspension (Rule 41.2). Allen will serve the suspension this weekend when Rochester hosts the Philadelphia Wings.
