Rush's Matthews set to join on NLL LIVE

Edmonton Rush star Mark Matthews will interact with fans and take questions on the NLL Live show on YouTube via The Lacrosse Network on Thursday, April at 8:15 p.m. ET.

Matthews, who leads the Rush in scoring with 60 points (23+37) as an integral part of their historic 13-0 undefeated start, ranks 10th in the league in both points and assists. The 24-year-old, an Oshawa, Ontario native who played collegiately at the University of Denver, was the 2013 NLL Rookie of the Year after being selected as the first overall pick in the 2012 NLL Entry Draft.

NLL Live is a weekly one-hour video chat with hosts Mark Powers & Connor Wilson from Lacrosse All-Stars talking all things National Lacrosse League with NLL players via Google+ Hangout.

The guests get interviewed by the hosts and fans during the live event. Fans can submit questions for Matthews (@markmatthews222) during the Hangout on YouTube's comment section or by tweeting @LacrosseNetwork and/or using the hashtag #NLLlive.

The Vancouver Stealth's Nick Weiss, Philadelphia Wings' Garrett Thul, Buffalo Bandits' Dhane Smith, Toronto Rock's Nick Rose, Calgary Roughnecks' Curtis Dickson, Colorado Mammoth's Adam Jones, Rush's Chris Corbeil, Rochester Knighthawks' Joe Walters and Minnesota Swarm's Kiel Matisz have all made guest appearances on the live program this year.
