Calgary hosted Game 1 on May 24, series heads to Rochester on May 31

The 28th season of the National Lacrosse League featuring the world's best players culminates with the 2014 NLL Champion's Cup Finals series between the East Division champion Rochester Knighthawks and West Division champion Calgary Roughnecks.

The back-to-back NLL champion Knighthawks, who won their first Cup in 1997 and another in 2007, will attempt to become the first team in league history to win three-straight titles. Rochester overcame a Game One loss to the Buffalo Bandits in the Thruway Rivalry East Division Finals by decisively taking Game Two at home before advancing in sudden  death overtime of the subsequent mini-game.

The Roughnecks are seeking their third championship in franchise history after winning it all in 2004 and 2009. After a Game One overtime win over the Edmonton Rush in the West Finals, Calgary dropped Game Two but rebounded in the 10-minute tiebreaker game to win the Battle of Alberta series.
