The Vancouver Stealth have announced the re-signing of defensemen Chris O’Dougherty and Tim Henderson along with transition player Mitch McMichael, all to one-year contracts for the 2015 National Lacrosse League season, pending league approval.

O’Dougherty has spent his entire five-year NLL career with the Stealth recording 9 points (1+8), while collecting 134 loose balls in 49 games. The 27-year-old from Kinneton, New Jersey was selected in sixth round of the 2009 NLL Draft. O’Dougherty played his college lacrosse at Rutgers and is currently the head coach at East Lake High School in Sammamish, Washington.

McMichael, who plays both transition and defense, signed with the Stealth as a free agent in 2013 and tallied 14 points (5+9) in 14 games and gathered 43 loose balls. The 26-year-old was on the physically unable to perform list and missed the entire 2014 season.

Henderson was also a player that didn’t suit up for the Stealth last season. The 25-year-old native of Tully, New York and graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point was deployed to Afghanistan for active duty with the U.S. Army last year and missed the entire 2014 NLL season. The defender was drafted in the third round by the Stealth in 2012.
