The Calgary Roughnecks have officially selected their team captain and assistant captains for the 2011 season. Andrew McBride was promoted to Roughnecks Captain and fellow teammate Kaleb Toth remains an Assistant Captain joined by the newest addition, Mike Carnegie.
The Colorado Mammoth have announced the retirement of goaltender Curtis Palidwor. Palidwor played 12 seasons in the league, winning a championship with Calgary in 2004. Palidwor was named Most Valuable Player of the Championship Game.
