Recently traded back to Toronto, Colin Doyle to wear the "C"
The Toronto Rock has announced Colin Doyle as captain for the 2010 season. Doyle, who was recently re-acquired in a trade with Washington, becomes only the third captain in Rock history. "This is a big deal for me", said Doyle. "Before I left Toronto three years ago this was something I had always hoped would happen."
Colin Doyle returns to Toronto; Lewis Ratcliff to Washington
In a blockbuster trade completed on Tuesday morning, the Washington Stealth have traded Colin Doyle back to the Toronto Rock. Toronto trades Lewis Ratcliff and two additional players to Washington. The Rock re-acquire a franchise cornerstone, while the Stealth obtain a top scorer.
