The Calgary Roughnecks topped the Edmonton Rush, 10-5, in preseason action on Saturday in Red Deer.
The Roughnecks dressed their A-team in the first half and roared out to a 7-2 lead. Pat Campbell allowed just two goals in the first half, while Matt King held the Rush to three in the second.
Dane Dobbie, Jeff Shattler, Josh Sanderson and Scott Ranger each scored two goals, while Kaleb Toth and Cayle Ratcliff added singles.
Edmonton Rush GM/Head Coach Bob Hamley has announced the signing of free-agent forward Jason Wulder who will return for a second tour of duty with the Rush. He rejoins the Rush to play the role of set-up man on the new-look Rush offence which will be featuring newcomer and 2008 NLL all-star Andy Secore, according to Hamley.
