2019 year in review

As the confetti fell in Calgary with the Roughnecks celebrating as new champions, it’s hard to believe that the 2019 National Lacrosse League season is officially in the books. Week 1 back in December doesn’t feel like that long ago does it?

It’s a year that saw two new expansion clubs hit the floor and the announcement of a couple more getting ready to suit up in 2019-20. The skill, speed, and entertainment of the NLL game somehow keeps getting better and before we know it we’ll be talking Draft.

Come take a look back at the 2018-19 season with Brian Shanahan and I as we chat about the NLL Playoffs, MVP’s and biggest surprises. Listen below:

NLL Regular Season MVP

Andy – Callum Crawford – New England Black Wolves

Shanny – Dane Dobbie – Calgary Roughnecks

Biggest Surprise of 2019

Andy – San Diego Seals

Shanny – Saskatchewan Rush
