    NLL Internships

    The NLL offers several internships per year in all areas of business: marketing, lacrosse operations, team services, finance and operations, broadcast and content, sales and partnerships, and legal. The internship programs are seasonal, and are open to enrolled college and masters students, as well as recent graduates. Working at the NLL is a once in a lifetime experience to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and a great stepping stone to a job in sports.

    All NLL interns will be paid. The NLL does not offer college credit or similar work-study credits.

    About the NLL

    Founded in 1986, the National Lacrosse League (NLL) is the longest running and most successful professional lacrosse league, ranking third in average attendance for pro indoor sports behind only the NHL and NBA. The League is currently comprised of 14 franchises across the United States and Canada: Buffalo Bandits, Calgary Roughnecks, Colorado Mammoth, Panther City Lacrosse (to begin play in 2021-22), Georgia Swarm, Halifax Thunderbirds, New England Black Wolves, New York Riptide, Philadelphia Wings, Rochester Knighthawks, San Diego Seals, Saskatchewan Rush, Toronto Rock, and Vancouver Warriors.

    The NLL boasts some of the most prestigious ownership groups in professional sports, including Pegula Sports and Entertainment, Kroenke Sports and Entertainment, Comcast Spectacor, Calgary Sports and Entertainment, Canuck Sports and Entertainment, and Joe Tsai, among others within the National Lacrosse League.

    According to recent research, the NLL fan is, on average, younger (average age 46) than almost every North American professional sports league. Almost 60% of NLL fans do not have a history playing or watching box or field lacrosse, while the general lacrosse fan has become more engaged than at any point in the history of the league. Most importantly, all NLL fans are extremely passionate and engaged, with 58% of NLL fans identifying their favorite NLL team as their overall favorite sports team. Focusing on a digital-first strategy, every NLL game is distributed on Turner’s B/R Live streaming service available on desktop, iOS, Android, and connected devices. The NLL Game of The Week broadcast is also available on NLL social channel(s) and averaged over 160,000 unique viewers per game last season.
