2016 Nll Combine On Sept. 24-25 At Toronto Rock Athletic Centre

The National Lacrosse League has announced the 2016 NLL Combine will take place from Saturday, Sept. 24 to Sunday, Sept. 25 to open draft weekend at Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC) in Oakville, Ontario. The Combine opens on Saturday with the first session set for 6 p.m. ET. On Sunday, the first practice session begins at 9 a.m. with day-long lacrosse activities culminating with the annual Prospects Game scrimmage at noon followed by team interviews.

At the Combine, players will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in a practice setting through structured games and take part in an interview process with NLL general managers and coaches. All prospects who participate in the Combine will be subject to a series of tests to evaluate their endurance, reaction times, strength, agility, speed, and lacrosse-related skills. The testing will be conducted by Sport Testing Inc., a provider of athlete assessment technologies and services.

Registration fee is $150 per player with a deadline of Thursday, Sept. 8 or prior, subject to Combine being filled.

Players who are interested in renouncing any remaining NCAA eligibility or entering the NLL Draft early can confirm their status by completing this form: bit.ly/16NLLDraftRenunciation. Applicants will then receive an official renunciation form to complete, which should be re-submitted to the league in order for players to formally enter the NLL Draft.

The 2016 NLL Draft is set for Monday, Sept. 26 at Toronto Rock Athletic Centre live on NLL.com starting at 7 p.m. ET.
