On Saturday night, the Calgary Roughnecks and the Buffalo Bandits faced off Saturday night at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo.
Less than a minute and a half in the game, Dane Dobbie ran right through the middle of the turf and wristed one past Bandits goaltender Matt Vinc.
Dan Taylor scored for Calgary, followed by Ian Mackay for Buffalo. Each team then traded goal for the next nine goals.
Below is Dhane Smith‘s goal to make the score 3-2. Smith had two goals in the game.
Down 4-2, Chase Fraser ripped one past Christian Del Bianco to make the score 4-3.
Less than 30 seconds later, Curtis Dickson scored his second goal of the game to tie the game.
Calgary took a 7-4 lead and Buffalo then scored four of the next five goal to tie the game at 8.
Rhys Duch then beat Vinc on the right side to five Calgary the lead back.
Down 9-8, the Bandits took over down the stretch with four goals in the fourth quarter and only one for Calgary. With 6:38 left, the score was tied at 10. Buffalo scored two goals in the last seven minutes for the 12-10 lead. The first goal came from Dhane Smith and the second from Ethan OConnnor.
Final score: Buffalo Bandits 12, Calgary Roughnecks 10.
