Week 10 GIF Recap: New England @ Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Wings and New England Black Wolves faced off twice this weekend as part of a home and home series.

On Saturday, the Wings hosted at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia got on the board with the first two goals of the game in the first four minutes.
The first goal was scored by Matt Rambo, with the second (pictured below) by Jordan Hall.

Down 2-0, Stephan Leblanc got New England on the board with a power play goal.

The Wings scored two more goals to take a 4-1 lead, but New England scored two straight goals of their own to narrow the lead back to one, at 4-3. Below is Dereck Downs‘ goal to make the score 4-3.

The Wings then scored four of the next five goals of the game to take an 8-4 lead. Below is Kevin Crowley‘s goal to make the score 7-4. Crowley finished the night with four goals.

Second Half

Down 8-4, The Black Wolves fired back with three straight goals (the first two coming in the second half). Leblanc scored his third goal of the night to make the score 8-7.

After two goals by the Wings, Downs scored his second goal of the game to cut the deficit to two. New England scored once more to make the score 10-9.

…And that’s where the Wings took over. Philadelphia scored four straight goals to make the score 14-9 which put the game out of reach. Below is the 14th goal for the Wings by Liam Patten.

Final score: Philadelphia Wings 14, New England Black Wolves 10.
