Mammoth’S Noble Wins Pinty’S Wingman Award

The National Lacrosse League has announced Colorado Mammoth rookie forward Jeremy Noble as the “Pinty’s Wingman of the Week” award winner for Week 11 of the 2015 NLL regular season.

After being acquired via trade from the Rochester Knighthawks last Friday, Noble had a memorable NLL debut for the Mammoth as he tied for the team lead with seven points (2+5) and recovered a game-high 10 loose balls as Colorado defeated Minnesota 12-8 on Sunday night.

“It’s special – I’m honored to get this award and to have my first game like that,” Noble said. “I still have a lot to learn. I’m just glad we got the win on Sunday night and am looking forward to carrying the momentum through to Saturday night versus Vancouver.”

The 23-year-old, who was the second overall selection in the 2014 NLL Draft, was a three-time All-America selection at the University of Denver and was named the BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year in 2014. He set a Pioneer record as a senior, averaging 1.89 assists per game. Last summer, Noble was the offensive leader of Team Canada when it won the gold medal at the 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championships.

Pinty’s is an official partner for the NLL on TSN during the 2015 season. Each week, an NLL player will receive the “Pinty’s Wingman of the Week” award based on their performance with respect to passing prowess and playmaking abilities. The weekly award winners will be entered into the pool of finalists for the “Pinty’s Wingman of the Year” award at the end of the season.
