Philadelphia, PA (July 8, 2025) – The National Lacrosse League (NLL) announced a major addition to its free streaming platform, NLL+, with the addition of live games from summer affiliate box lacrosse leagues and expanded original content. Starting tomorrow, fans can stream games from the Ohio Box Lacrosse Series (OBLS), a dynamic new men’s box lacrosse league committed to showcasing top-tier talent and developing future NLL athletes.
Owned and operated by Resolute Lacrosse in collaboration with Calgary Roughnecks faceoff specialist Justin Inacio, the Ohio Box Lacrosse Series (OBLS) headlines NLL+’s expanded summer slate, giving fans a front-row seat to the future of the sport. OBLS is a reimagining of the former OCBLL, introducing a more competitive structure, a strong emphasis on elite player development, and a clear pathway to the National Lacrosse League. The league will be hosted at the Resolute Athletic Complex in Columbus, Ohio, which features three dedicated box lacrosse floors and serves as home to Resolute’s established high school winter league. Each team will play seven regular season games, culminating in a championship battle for the “Good River Cup.”
“We launched the Ohio Box Lacrosse Series to elevate the level of competition in U.S. box lacrosse and establish a clear pathway to the NLL,” said Justin Inacio. “As a current NLL player, it’s incredibly rewarding to collaborate with the league and see OBLS games stream on NLL+. It’s a meaningful step forward for the sport and an exciting platform for the next generation of talent.”
Launched prior to the 2024-25 season, NLL+ continues to grow as the year-round streaming home for box lacrosse. In addition to the Ohio Box Lacrosse Series, fans can stream matchups from the Greater Philadelphia Collegiate Box Lacrosse League and the men’s and women’s Canadian Summer Games coming in August. These leagues showcase emerging talent and reinforce the NLL’s commitment to player development. More live programming, new original content and behind the scenes features, will be announced soon.
