NLL Team Needs Analysis: Pre-Draft

The National Lacrosse League Entry Draft is live this Tuesday and that means the regular season is right around the corner!

It’s been an active offseason around the NLL as Philadelphia and San Diego join the fold along with plenty of player movement via the expansion draft, trades and free agency. The Entry Draft is a perfect time to check in on every franchise and analyze strengths, weaknesses, and overall needs.

Let’s begin in the East where only three games separated first and last place in 2017/18. IL Indoor’s Brian Shanahan helped me break down this tight division.

The West is home to the reigning champion Saskatchewan Rush, the renamed Vancouver Warriors and a whole bunch of question marks entering the 2018/19 season. NLL insider Teddy Jenner joined me to go over possible areas of improvement for every club.
