Quick Hits – Week 15

Welcome back to our weekly feature, Quick Hits. Every Friday we will be posting upcoming milestones and some interesting factoids to get you ready for the weekend’s games.

Buffalo
Chase Fraser became the only player in the league to score two overtime goals this season when he netted the game winner against Saskatchewan last week.

With seven points in last weekends game vs. Saskatchewan, Shawn Evans (1,172) passed Gary Gait for sixth on the all-time list for points. 

Matt Vinc’s 11 wins this season tie the franchise record for most wins in a season. He is tied with Steve Deitrich who won 11 games in 2003.


Calgary
Dane Dobbie (398) needs two goals to become the 13th player in NLL history to reach 400.

Dan Taylor 
(15 goals, 18 assists, 33 points) has already reached his career highs in goals, assists and points.

Dan MacRae (96) needs four points to reach 100 for his career.


Colorado
Eli McLaughlin (124) is sixth all-time in franchise history for goals scored. He needs 70 to pass Adam Jones (194)

Jacob Ruest 
(89) needs 11 assists to reach 100 for his career.

 

Georgia
Randy Staats (190) needs ten assists to reach 200 for his career.

Shayne Jackson (470) ranks second in Swarm history for loose balls.  He trails only Jordan MacIntosh (1270).

Miles Thompson (228) is ninth in franchise history in points. Next up is Ryan Ward (310).

 

New England
Stephan Leblanc (294) needs six goals to reach 300 for his career.

Reilly OConnor 
(185) needs 15 assists to reach 200 for his career.

 

Rochester
Cody Jamieson (247) is three goals away from 250 for his career

Kyle Jackson
(92) needs eight assists to reach 100 for his career

Angus Goodleaf
(149) is one game shy of 150 games played for his career.


San Diego
Austin Staats leads all rookies with points (50) and is tied for eighth in the league in goals (27).

Frank Scigliano 
is second in the NLL in save percentage (.794), is fourth in goals against average (11.12), fourth in wins (seven) and fourth in total saves (466).


Saskatchewan
The Rush hold the league’s No. 1 ranked power-play at 64.7% (22 for 34)

Jeremy Thompson (139) is second in the NLL with 139 loose ball scoops and is third in the league in faceoff wins (139)

Jeff Shattler 
(4) needs one more game-winning goal to pass the franchise single-season record set by Curtis Knight (5) in 2004.

 

Toronto
Rob Hellyer (454) is 19 points shy of tying Garrett Billings (473) for sixth most points in franchise history.

Dan Lintner 
(99) needs one point to reach 100 for his NLL career.

Johnny Powless
(201) passed 200 career assists last weekend vs. Rochester.


Vancouver

Logan Schuss (305) is eighth in franchise history in points, trailing Corey Small (343)

Ian Hawksbee (92) is eight points short of reaching 100 for his career.

Eric Penny (1,261) is fourth in franchise history in saves. Next up is Anthony Cosmo (1.942)

NLL
