Roughnecks’ Dickson Wins Pinty’S Wingman Award

The National Lacrosse League has announced Calgary Roughnecks forward Curtis Dickson as the “Pinty’s Wingman of the Week” award winner for Week 12 of the 2015 NLL regular season.

Dickson, who leads the league with an average of three goals per game, is currently tied for second in the NLL with 33 goals and ranks 12th overall with 58 points (33+25). He earned the weekly award by notching 11 points including seven assists in Calgary’s 20-9 win over New England this past Friday.

The 26-year-old has posted over 30 goals and 50 points in all five of his NLL seasons to date and has recorded three or more goals and three-plus points in 10 of his 11 games so far in 2015. Dickson’s nine power play goals are tied for second-most in the league while his seven goals in Week 8 are the most by an NLL player in a single game this season.

The Port Coquitlam, British Columbia native, who played collegiately at the University of Delaware, was selected by the Roughnecks with the third overall pick of the 2010 NLL Draft.

Each week, an NLL player will receive the “Pinty’s Wingman of the Week” award based on their performance with respect to passing prowess and playmaking abilities.
