October 5, 2016 –  After the incredible excitement of the first season for the Saskatchewan Rush, 2016 National Lacrosse League Champions, the team is continuing to build up momentum towards their upcoming season by way of announcing one of the team’sBIGGEST PARTNERSHIPS TO DATE. This announcement comes only days after the team made NLL history by drafting the son of Rush Head Coach & GM Derek Keenan, Ryan Keenan with the number one pick. Ryan Keenan headlines the fantastic crop of young players the team selected in the 2016 NLL Draft including stand outs Michael Messenger (third overall) and Matt Hossack (fourteenth selection).

The Saskatchewan Rush are pleased to announce a NEW 3 YEAR Broadcast Deal with the Saskatoon Media Group, who will broadcast all home and away regular season and playoff games LIVE on 98COOL FM for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 seasons, billed as the largest broadcast deal in NLL History. By way of the partnership, fans from across the province will be able to tune in and catch every exciting game over in the next three seasons. General Manager Vic Dubois says, “We are thrilled to become the official radio partner of the Saskatchewan Rush. 2017 regular season and playoff games, home and away, will be broadcast on 98COOL FM which, in collaboration with sister station 92.9 the BULL, looks forward to bringing listeners the behind the scenes happenings plus exciting play by play action of our NLL Champion team”.
