The Saskatchewan Rush were looking for a win on the road against the Vancouver Warriors after coming off of a five-goal loss at home last week. Vancouver was trying for another big win after beating San Diego by eight goals, 14-6.
Saskatchewan’s Robert Church scored first within two minutes of the opening face-off.
Vancouver replied with three straight goals as Mitch Jones got his first of four goals on the night.
Mark Matthews scored his first goal of the night to tie the game up at 4-4.
The Warriors and Jordan McBride answered with two straight goals to give them to a 6-4 lead.
Saskatchewan scored three unanswered goals and regained the lead as Matthew Dinsdale found the back of the net.
As the Warriors and Rush continued to fight back and forth, Jordan McBride scored his second of the night to bring the game to an 11-11 tie early in the fourth quarter.
Mike Messenger secured the win for the Rush as he scored their 15th goal on an empty net during the final minute of the game.
The Rush move to .500 on the season as the Warriors fall to 3-7.
