Week 13 GIF Recap: Georgia @ Buffalo

On Saturday, two of the top teams in the East in the Georgia Swarm and the Buffalo Bandits faced off at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo. This was the second of the Bandits’ back-to-back games this weekend.

Patience is a virtue. With a 5-on-3, the Swarm passed around and found the open man, Shayne Jackson, to take the 1-0 lead.

After both teams traded goals, Chase Fraser ripped a shot from the middle of the field to tie the game at two.

The Swarm then went on a 4-0 run to take a 6-2 lead. The goals below belong to Zed Williams and Brendan Bomberry.

After both teams traded goals, the Bandits scored two in a row to cut their deficit to two, at 7-5. Below is Dhane Smith’s goal.

Second Half

After both teams traded goals, the Swarm blew the game open late in the third quarter with five straight goals to take a 14-7 lead.  Lyle Thompson (below), Randy Staats (below), Miles Thompson, Jackson and Bomberry each scored for the Swarm.

Buffalo scored two late goals, (the below by Thomas Hoggarth) but it wasn’t nearly enough as the Bandits fell to the Swarm, 14-9.

Final Score: Georgia Swarm 14, Buffalo Bandits 9.
