Week 13 GIF Recap: Rochester @ Toronto

On Saturday, the Toronto Rock hosted the Rochester Knighthawks. This was the second of back-to-back games this weekend for the Knighthawks, as they were looking to avenge their loss Friday night at home to Georgia.

Rochester scored three of the first four goals of the game to take an early 3-1 lead. Chris Boushy started where he left off on Friday night with the first goal in Saturday’s game. The below goal was from Mike Burke.

Up 3-1, the Rock came back with two goals, the second on a man advantage by Dan Lintner to tie the game at three.

After Rochester took a 4-3 lead, the Rock scored three straight, the last goal by Kieran McArdle to put Toronto on top, 6-4.

After both teams traded goals, Boushy found the net for his second goal of the game to cut Toronto’s lead to one.

Right after that, the Rock scored two goals, both by Rob Hellyer.

Second Half

Graeme Hossack and Mike Burke (below) then scored two goals in a row for Rochester to again cut their deficit to one.

After Rochester scored two goals to cut their deficit to one – again – Toronto scored two goals to eventually lead 13-10, with the below goal credited to Tom Schreiber.

Hossack and Cody Jameison (below) then scored twice for the Rock, to again, cut their deficit to one.

Less than one minute later, Keiran McArdle (below) found the net for the Rock to put them on top 14-12. After Brandon Robinson scored for Rochester to bring the score to 14-13, Damon Edwards scored an empty netter for the Rock to give them the win.

Final: Toronto Rock 15, Rochester Knighthawks 13.
