WEEK 9 GIF Recap: New England @ Vancouver

Coming into Saturday’s game against the Vancouver Warriors, the New England Black Wolves had won three games in a row, while the Warriors were coming off of two straight losses to the San Diego Seals and the Saskatchewan Rush.

Joe Resetarits scored nearly 3:30 into the game with a rip from the left side past Warriors goaltender Eric Penny.

After Dereck Downs scored for New England, Tony Malcom got the Warriors on the board at the 4:40 mark.

Up 2-1, the Black Wolves scored two goals in a row to go up 4-1, with the first goal (below) by Quinn Powless and the second by Reilly Oconnor.

Down 4-1, the Warriors scored three goals in a row to tie the game up at four. The first goal was scored by Mitch Jones, the second by Tyler Codron and the third (below) by James Rahe.

After both teams exchanged goals, the Warriors scored twice to go up 9-7, with their eighth goal by Keegan Bal, and the ninth, below as well, by Jones.


Reilly OConnor ended the skid for New England to cut the deficit to 9-8, but the Warriors scored three of the final four goals of the game for the win.

The goal below belongs to Jordan McBride (his second of two goals on the night). After OConnor scored for his third goal of the game (below), Justin Salt cemented the game with an empty net goal to give the Warriors the win.

Final goal: Vancouver Warriors 12, New England Black Wolves 9.
