Both the Rochester Knighthawks and the New England Black Wolves entered the game on two-game losing streaks.
Rochester opened the game with three of the game’s first four goals, before New England scored two straight to tie the score at 3.
Brad Gilles then found the net on a breakaway to give the Knighthawks a 4-3 lead.
From that point forward, it was all New England. The Black Wolves rattled off eight straight goals to take an 11-4 lead.

Rochester scored six of the next seven goals to come with one goal, at 12-10.

But New England scored the final goal with under one minute left for the 16-13 win.
