The San Diego Seals, playing in their first game in three weeks, hosted the Vancouver Warriors Friday night at Pechanga Arena in San Diego.
The Seals had won three games in a row coming into this game, while the Warriors were coming off a disapointing 8-5 loss to Calgary last week.
The 20-day wait in between games for San Diego didn’t show, as Cam Holding scored nine seconds into the game.
After Dan Dawson scored for San Diego, James Rahe got the Warriors on the board to make the score 2-1.
A couple of goals later and the score was 3-3. But not for long.
Keegan Bal scored four straight goals – the first two with an extra attacker – to give Vancouver a 7-3 lead.
Here’s Bal’s first goal.
Garrett Billings ended the Seals skid with a goal with 1:49 left in the first half.
Dan Dawson scored to make the score 7-5, but the Warriors rattled off seven straight goals and ended the game on an 8-1 run.
First, here’s Mitch Jones’ goal to make score 8-5.
And Bal’s final goal – his sixth goal of the game. (Bal also finished with four assists)
Final score: Vancouver Warriors 14, San Diego Seals 6.
