Full Bio

Entering his 19th season, Llord joined the Knighthawks as a free agent last year. Originally drafted in 2006, he was the fifth overall pick by Philadelphia.

He played one season with the Wings before heading to Buffalo, where he played 5 seasons and won his first NLL Championship. He joined the original Knighthawks in the 2012-13 season and earned his second and third Champions Cups in 2013 and 2014, on the back-end of Rochester’s three-peat. After a short stint in Colorado in 2019, Llord returned to the Wings, in a new era, and played four seasons in Philadelphia.

In 2022, his stat output changed with the league adding blocks to the official stat book. As one of the biggest shot blockers in the NLL, Llord started getting credit for his blocks. As a Wing, he totaled 41 blocks in three years. Last season as a Knighthawk, he set a franchise record for single-season blocks with 37.

A long-time veteran of senior box lacrosse in his summers, Llord is a six-time Mann Cup winner. He won as a rookie with the Brampton Excelsiors in 2007, with the Six Nations Chiefs in 2013, and won four straight with the Peterborough Lakers from 2017-22.
