Boston Harbor is home to the oldest lighthouse in New England, a beacon that has guided sailors through treacherous waters for centuries. Long before modern technology, dedicated lightkeepers endured long, grueling nights, tending the flame and ensuring the wick never went out, their vigilance a lasting testament to resilience and duty.
Much like those keepers of the past, the Wickies embody that same unwavering commitment, lighting the way for the future of lacrosse in Boston.
Boston also carries a rich lacrosse legacy, including the Boston Blazers, a former team in the National Lacrosse League. Led by Head Coach Matt Sawyer, the team featured NLL legends Dan Dawson and Anthony Cosmo, along with current standout goaltender Nick Rose. The Blazers reached the playoffs in each of their three seasons.
