Bandits Re-Sign Priolo

One of league’s top defenders re-ups with Buffalo with three-year deal

The Buffalo Bandits have announced the team has re-signed defenseman Steve Priolo with a three-year contract agreement, pending league approval.

“We are thrilled to have Steve re-sign with the Bandits for three years,” said Buffalo Bandits general manager Steve Dietrich. “Steve has proven to be one of the top defenders in the league and his sole focus is to help the Bandits bring the Champion’s Cup back to Buffalo.”

Drafted by Buffalo in the second round of the 2009 NLL Entry Draft, Priolo has played 69 games for the Bandits, totaling 51 points (12+39) and collecting 275 loose balls.

In 2014, Priolo was named one of three finalists for the NLL Defensive Player of the Year award for the second-straight year, and is coming off a season that saw him set career highs in goals (8), assists (18), points (26), loose balls (99) and penalty minutes (65). He also added two points (0+2) and was second on the team with 24 loose balls collected in four playoff games.
